All prints are made using archival, pigment inks.

Prints 13×19″ and smaller are printed by Lisa using Canon Lucia Pro pigment inks, while larger images use Epson UltraChrome pigment inks.

The Making of the Photo

While the day started clear, not long after sunrise the rain started heavily and didn’t let up all day. This was our second time visiting the Zauberwald (which translates to Magic Wood), and thankfully it was a lot more successful than our first visit in 2018. Back then it was soon after a storm brought down many trees, and the wood was not very attractive. This time, with all the leaves glistening in the rain, it really lived up to its name. Danny went for a scout over rocks and a massive pile of driftwood to find me this view – thank you Danny!
