Print Size

All prints are made using archival, pigment inks.

Prints 13×19″ and smaller are printed by Lisa using Canon Lucia Pro pigment inks, while larger images use Epson UltraChrome pigment inks.

The Making of the Photo

On our last morning in Berchtesgaden we woke to thick fog blanketing the town. I knew this little chapel was at a higher elevation, so we set out with our fingers crossed that we’d be above the fog. We popped out the top just as we reached the church, but no sooner had we arrived than the fog rose, obscuring first Watzmann mountain in the background, then swallowing up the church too. A nervous wait as the sky lightened, then finally some 40 minutes later the mist thinned and dropped and this glorious sight revealed itself.
