All prints are made using archival, pigment inks.

Prints 13×19″ and smaller are printed by Lisa using Canon Lucia Pro pigment inks, while larger images use Epson UltraChrome pigment inks.

The Making of the Photo

Hintersee is a well photographed place, but from what I’ve seen, mostly from the Northern shore. Instead we decided to walk along the Eastern shore where the Zauberwald bordered it. I really enjoyed the glimpses of the lake through the trees, which is what inspired this image. I did do a little bit of stick removal, as it was impossible to take this image without a few spindly dead twigs intruding along the top, and I preferred having a clean view of the trees in the background.
